The night finally arrived as did our turn to stand for photos with Addie. Seriously the amount of photos of these 4 hours could equal any years worth of her life. We are such a photo consumed generation do we ever just live a moment any more? This one we did not have our phones out and were front and center for the show.
The girls were all given a newspaper that had the name of the queen inside. Addie unwrapped hers to find she was the 2025 Homecoming queen. Her sponsors Producers Livestock are classmates of Greg's and our family friends. They were so excited for her. Addie and Colby. Addie with her escort and fellow princesses. She was surprised. I was not. Addie is friendly to everyone and not exclusive in her kindness. She works hard is recognized for her ambition and determination and thoughtful to all those at school.

Many people got pictures with Addie. Millie's friend Avery.
Her sisters who have their own talents and personalities and who are all striving to know and find friendship as they mature and become who they are.
Reed.
Her good friend Peyton who is ultra-honest and encouraging as Addie is meek and self-sacrificing.
Addie with Grandma Corn.
Addie with Aunt Alena, Monroe and Myla. Her date for the dance Jackson.
And Mark so proud and so humbling. Oh these two.
A better picture of Rachel and Jason her sponsors. Jason said he knew at the start of the game and had to act surprised with the rest of us. They were so good to her all week.
Maag girls also huge supporters and lifelong friends.
Alia was given Addie's spare crown from the organizer. She was delighted.
Her XC coach and good friend coach Mary.
Merle with his now Queen sister.
A true turning point in her life and inspiration as Addie crafts her own future. Mrs. Robertson. It was so kind of her to come and support Addie, how we love this lady and her continued encouragement and interest in my children's lives.
Sweet friend Joey.
Andrea in the congratulation line. Part of royalty is being queenlike and encouraging to all the little girls with visions of crowns in their heads and hearts. Addie did this well.

Now post night people call her queen and continually ask her why she doesn't wear her crown more often. She has it tucked safely away somewhere and would not get it out to reign over us. We are thankful for the huge outpouring of love and support for her. She has worked to become a friend to all and interested in everyone. I'm thankful for each of these experiences with each kiddo.
