Addie Senior Prom

Addie got back from her 2 week leadership training and was promptly asked to prom. The dance was 4 days away. I went looking during the day and found a few maybes. She walked in the door that night with an amazon bag and said my friends mom gave me these three dresses to try on. She tried them on and one was good enough. Wow!

The end result was beautiful. A professional photographer offered quick shots at a place near our house. They headed there when ready, after an afternoon date of bowling and dinner. He was a gentleman and very kind. 

At the dance they also offered pictures. I loved the books and roses decorations.

 Time goes quickly and moments like these last a lifetime. Kaden has been a shy high schooler dreaming his own plans and living in the shadows. This year he decided to participate in high school life. He ran cross country, he's been going to events, and he had friends help him ask Addie to Prom. He made the plan, found a double, and paid for dinner and flowers. I love these stories. Friends participating in the milestones of growing up. I'm glad Addie got asked. She had decided not to go but enjoyed being with friends this evening. Life is good and we are blessed.
