3.30.23 Utah Vacation part 2

After a good night rest we were up and ready for more action. Simple normal breakfast was served and we got cleaned up and out the door.
We toured around looking at the sites and scenes of a big city. We stopped and briefly saw Greg's cousin Janice Kapp Perry. She has always been a supporter of our marriage and family. I so appreciate the encouragement. Addie asked why do these people love dad so much? Answer- They have cultivated and developed pure Christlike love and thus love everyone kindly. Greg too cares about people and seeks to reach out to them and respect them with time and thought. It was good to see her.

We began the touring in the Bean Natural History museum. We LOVED it! The kids were able to be so close to the animals. I loved the collections and various big kids to help with the little kids.

This is the golden pheasant of China. Anna did a report on this one a few years ago. Mark calls it the trump pheasant.
Becauitful diverse plummage.
This butterfly is made up of various butterfly species it was astounding.

I loved this story!

Super cool real life specimens in action. The zoo animals are always sleeping, guant, or hiding. Give me stuffed animals any day we were inches from this scene and could really look at the animals.
Cheetahs drag their prey into trees so other predators don't get them. Wow!

Afton was my exploring buddy.

She had just done a report on lions. She loves big cats.

Lunch was special at the Cannon center food court. The kids enjoyed free choice.

God's university where they have pink sauce. The kids have been dismayed when they traveled east and there was no fry sauce. In Utah it is a staple.
The physics department had lots of hands on experiments for the kids to try.

Walking is great exercise for all that fresh fed group.

Young energy in the science study area. They were cute and much more low key at their math equations.
Lia enjoyed shopping with us for dinner.

We had a great time in new locations in new experiences. We were blessed with hosts who made the days enjoyable and stress free. I'm glad we left and were able to travel incident free. Life is good!
