7.7.19 More farm days and Uncle Matt

THese photos are from Uncle Matt. He has a great eye for color and is a reliable source of fun and work. We have enjoyed having him around carrying the bulk of the farm responsibility. One evening he took the girls with him to the top of the silo. The sunsets have been spectacular this year these don't disappoint.

Addie watching down below with a very sad Bruce. He is Matt's permanent shadow and was probably crying at being left behind.

Bruce waits on the lane for MAtt to ride by on the fourwheeler. He then happily disappears for hours to work with Matt.

One day we went down to the farm and saw this. A cow on the wrong side of the fence. GRRR.

Reed was instructed to get her back in, can you spot him sneaking up on her?

She spotted him. Drat...or mission accomplished.

Move it bossy bad bovine!!! We are late for a chicken weigh-in date.

I'm gonna get you!

Reed got her contained-sorta, we left Addie to fix the fence as she isn't particularly interested in chickens and went to meet the new 4-h chickens. Anna helped with the pivot. Earrings and necklace return femininity while digging, pulling, and fixing the pivot in the mud. Love it.

We are blessed to have real purpose and necessary labor. We are spoiled with Uncle Matt doing so much. Life is good. To work is to find contentment. Idle hands are the devils workplace.
