10.4.21 Homecoming

Aliza has been so blessed to have so many people help make her Homecoming's truly memorable. Although grandma Saunders was just finishing her COVID sickness she still managed to make this very nice gress for Aliza. They used the same pattern as last time. The homecoming dance was go for the gold. After a few hours searching Joann's this was the best we could do for material I think it turned out nice.
She opted to take a friend from Adrian. They had a great time.
After much negotiation She was able to join this group of kids from our ward. The girls were fellow battle of the books enthusist.

Some amazing and generous moms prepared a feast like no other.
Their theme was food from around the world.

Italian sodas to finish off the party! Aliza loves Italian soda's. She kindly brought home a sample of the dinner offerings oh my so good and different foods.
I'm so thankful for all the creative parents out there. I'm not there yet. Maybe after a few more years of watching I will pick up some tricks. I was so impressed though and it was a truly pleasant evening. We really stress dates that are fun not high stress. The pre-planning is stressful enough coordinating schedules trying to get dates and then doubles. I'm proud of her for persisting and thus having a memorable evening. Another date in the books, a lot more learned. Life is good.
